OUR MISSION

Building a
Sustainable Future

At Tresman Steel Industries Ltd., our commitment to sustainability is integral to our operations. We are proud to be LEED certified, a reflection of our dedication to environmental responsibility and energy efficiency in the construction industry. As a part of our ongoing efforts to minimize our environmental impact, we exclusively use 100% recycled steel in all our fabrication and erection projects. This not only supports sustainable resource use but also contributes to reducing the overall carbon footprint of our operations.

In addition to our steel recycling initiatives, we have implemented a comprehensive paper and cardboard recycling program in collaboration with Green Thumb Recycling and Disposal Services®. Through this partnership, we have successfully diverted tons of paper products from landfills to recycling facilities, ensuring that these materials are repurposed rather than discarded.

Our sustainable practices are not just about compliance; they are a testament to our commitment to building a better future. By integrating green initiatives into our daily operations, Tresman Steel is doing our part to protect the environment for future generations while maintaining the high standards of quality and craftsmanship that our clients have come to expect.

Since its inception 48 years ago, Tresman Steel has evolved from humble beginnings into an industry-leading structural steel company. Originally based in a 3,000-square-foot facility in Brampton, Ontario, Tresman Steel built a reputation for delivering quality craftsmanship on small projects. As the demand for structural steel grew, we expanded, relocating to a much larger, 46,000-square-foot fabrication facility in Mississauga, supported by a 47,000-square-foot raw material yard.

Under new ownership and management since 2017, Tresman Steel has advanced its operations with modern CNC machinery, an efficient MRP system, and advanced barcoding technology. With a team of four partners who bring extensive experience in the structural steel and construction industry, we’re proud to serve clients with an unwavering commitment to excellence, achieving annual sales of up to $39 million.

Our dedication to safety, quality, and operational efficiency is reflected in our certifications and recognitions. We are ISO 45001:2018 certified for Health and Safety, ISO 9001:2015 certified for Quality Management, and are COR recognized. Tresman Steel is also certified by CSA W47.1 for Fusion Welding of Steel and participates in Ontario’s Safe Employers Program. Our fully digital health and safety system ensures a secure work environment for our skilled team.

With state-of-the-art facilities and an experienced workforce, Tresman Steel is equipped to manage every aspect of structural steel fabrication and erection, delivering excellence on every project.
